Drop a video, box the watermark
Nothing is added to your video. Check that nothing is uploaded
- Drop a video. Your browser opens it locally; nothing is sent anywhere.
- Pick a preset or drag the box over the watermark, logo, @handle or date stamp. Resize it from the corner square; arrow keys nudge it.
- Scrub through the clip to check the mark stays inside the box. Add a second box if it moves to another corner.
- Press Remove watermark. Every frame is decoded with WebCodecs, the boxed area is rebuilt, and the frame is encoded to H.264.
- Compare the enlarged before and after, then download the MP4. The original audio track is copied across untouched.
Presets for AI video generators
Most AI video generators stamp their logo in the same corner of every free export, and social apps save videos with a logo and @handle that jumps between corners. Presets place the starting boxes for the shape of your video, and you can drag them from there: Seedance 2.0, Higgsfield, Sora 2, PixVerse, Hailuo and saved TikTok videos.

How the free video watermark remover works
Three things happen to every frame, all on your own computer. Only the pixels inside your boxes are rewritten; everything outside them, usually 97% of the picture or more, is left as it was.
- 120 frames
- in the 4-second demo clip
- 225 × 62 px
- the box over its badge
- 1.5%
- of each frame rebuilt
Decode
Each frame of your MP4 or MOV is decoded by WebCodecs, the video engine already built into your browser.
Rebuild
Inside every box, the pixels are filled in from a 2-pixel ring just outside it, blended from all four sides.
Encode
The frame is encoded to H.264, and the original AAC audio is copied into the new MP4 without re-encoding.
Rebuild, crop or blur
Three ways to get rid of a corner mark, and what each one does to the rest of your video.
Resolution, frame rate and orientation stay the same. The video stream is re-encoded to H.264 a little above the source bitrate, and we never add a watermark of our own, on any plan.

Best results
- Keep boxes tight. Every pixel inside a box is rebuilt rather than kept.
- Corners over sky, water, walls, floors or blurred backgrounds come out cleanest.
- Detailed motion or faces right behind a mark will look smoothed in that spot; a slight crop in an editor can be the better fix there.
- If an edge of the mark shows after cleaning, grow the box by a few pixels and redo. Moving boxes and previewing never use a free video.

Questions
Is this video watermark remover really free?
Yes. Every day you can clean 3 videos for free, up to 1080p, without an account or a card. We never add our own watermark, and the free result is the same quality as Pro. Pro ($5.99 a month or $39.99 a year) is for people who need more than 3 a day, 4K videos, a third box or a queue.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Your video is decoded, cleaned and re-encoded by WebCodecs inside your browser, on your own CPU and GPU. Our server only keeps a daily counter of free exports. You can check it yourself in the Network tab: how to verify.
How does it remove a watermark?
You draw a box (or up to three) over the mark. For every frame, the pixels inside each box are rebuilt from a thin ring of clean pixels just outside it, blended smoothly from all four sides. Small frame-to-frame flicker is averaged out. Pixels outside the boxes are not changed.
Can it see what was behind the watermark?
No tool can. A solid logo hides the pixels under it, so the area is filled in to match its surroundings. That looks natural on skies, water, walls and soft backgrounds, and can look smoothed when fine detail, faces or text pass behind the mark.
Which files work?
MP4 and MOV videos (H.264, HEVC, VP9 or AV1, depending on what your browser can decode) with AAC audio kept, and WebM without audio. PNG, JPG and WebP stills work too and are not counted. The output is always an H.264 MP4 that plays everywhere.
Which browsers are supported?
Recent Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers on a computer work best. Safari 17+ and Firefox 130+ support WebCodecs too. Phones work but are slower and fiddlier for drawing boxes.
Is there a length or size limit?
Files up to 800 MB. Free videos go up to 1080p (1920×1080 or 1080×1920); 4K needs Pro. Long videos work, they just take longer: the box itself takes under a millisecond per frame, decoding and encoding take the rest.
Is it legal to remove a watermark?
It depends on whose video it is and what you agreed to. Clean your own videos and clips you have the rights to. Do not remove marks to pass off someone else’s work or to hide that a realistic video was made with AI.
